Zubin joined Oury Clark in January 2006 and became a partner in 2008. He works in our Corporate Finance department focussing on deal origination for our private equity and family office clients.
Geographically he helps to look after UK, Scandinavian and Indian clients due to his relevant parentage. He has traditionally focused on asset backed transactions ranging from the hospitality and leisure sectors, to the education sector, leading the “group’s” efforts in creating a dedicated professional advisory team helping client’s buy and sell schools. He has sat on the investment panel appraising business plans for the UK government’s Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP).
Previous experience:
Zubin studied Economics and Accounting at Newcastle University. While at university, he worked in the summers as an intern in the UK Mergers & Acquisitions team at BNP Paribas. After finishing university, he went onto the Investment Banking Graduate Scheme at Lehman Brothers, working in Debt Capital Markets. Zubin then qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2005 with PwC and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland.
Despite his Indian and Swedish parentage, Zubin has always lived in London. He is married with one daughter. Outside work, Zubin enjoys food (cooking and eating), watching all major sports and travelling around the world.
Aiden is a partner in Oury Clark’s accounting and consulting practices and he heads up the firm’s corporate finance business. Prior to joining Oury Clark in October 2004, he was with Barclays for 15 years on their corporate and investment banking side.
Since joining Oury Clark, Aiden has driven the refocusing of the firm’s corporate finance activities towards predominantly buy side advisory, with expertise in environmental, private education and leisure sectors. Aiden has also directed numerous environmental assignments for the UK government’s Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP).
Aiden has a Masters Degree in Economic History and International Relations from the University of St Andrews. He is married with two children and lives in South West England.
