The UK has some rather generous provisions if your company is spending money on research and development in a genuine new advancement in knowledge or technology.

If your primary business is overseas and you are now travelling in and out of the UK setting up your UK subsidiary, and/or business ventures, you need to be careful with your Visa status.

The thresholds for the requirement for a UK company to have an audit have been going up and up in recent years. However, many companies do still require one. Furthermore if your company is part of a international group, the group as a whole needs to be considered so even the smallest UK subsidiary can still be required to have an Audit. Regulated businesses are also required to have an audit irrelevant of their size.
