The Solicitors Regulation Authority has published Transparency Rules to ensure consumers have the information they need to make an informed choice of legal service providers.

* Our professional fees listed above are exclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax) at 20% and will be added in most cases. VAT is applied to most goods and services sold by VAT-registered businesses in the UK, where the standard rate is 20%.

Our 2025/2026 hourly rates

These fees are calculated by reference to our standard hourly rates which vary depending on the experience of the caseworker carrying out the work.

From the 1 April 2025, our hourly rates are:

  • £490 +VAT @20% for a Partner
  • £385 +VAT @20% for a Senior Associate Solicitor
  • £285 +VAT @20% for an Associate Solicitor
  • £205 +VAT @20% for a Trainee Solicitor or Paralegal

At the start of our engagement, we will provide you with a fee estimate. The time required will depend on factors such as the number of documents, whether translations are needed, if any documents are missing, and how long it takes to obtain them.

What Services Are Included:

When you instruct Oury Clark for any of the visa types listed above, our service includes:

  • Advising on your circumstances, eligibility, and relevant UK Immigration Rules
  • Exploring alternative visa options where applicable
  • Completing and submitting your application
  • Providing a tailored checklist of required supporting documents
  • Reviewing your documents and advising on any additional evidence needed
  • Coordinating Home Office appointments if required
  • Liaising with the Home Office as necessary
  • Advising on the outcome and any next steps

All visa applications we assist with must be supported by appropriate documentation, submitted in line with Home Office requirements. We will provide clear guidance on the required documents, their format, and whether any need to be attested or translated.

Disbursements (not included in the costs set out above):

Disbursement are third party costs such as visa fees and are billed separately from service fees and may or may not be subject to VAT, depending on the nature of the expense.

Where applicable, VAT at 20% may be charged, and we’ll confirm this upon instruction.

How Long Will My Application Take:

Processing times for applications can vary and the Home Office release updates on these throughout the year, along with their standard expected timeframes. Read the current processing times.

We aim to submit your application within 1-2 months of receiving your instruction, subject to your circumstances and required documents. The timeline depends on how promptly you provide the requested information.  If delays are expected, we will let you know at the earliest opportunity.

As each application is unique, we will provide a more accurate estimate once we have a clearer understanding of your specific circumstances.
