Greetings Friends of Oury Clark,
Summer is upon us, or at least it’s supposed to be but it’s so hard to stay up to date with the forecast these days. Whilst we can’t guarantee you sunshine, we can help sort out plenty of those little niggles and bits of paperwork that can be tough to get around to, but expensive if you find out you haven’t done them.
That’s why this month our intrepid adventurers are riding round business town and double checking people’s websites, to make sure all of their T&Cs are up to date. It’s a pesky job, but someone has to do it, and given the amount of legislative changes around data, AI and the like, a lot of people have had trouble keeping up, which could lead to (expensive) problems down the line.
Our Commercial Law team offers a quick health check and can help you rectify any problems or breaches in law so you can get on with sipping your Pimm’s or Pina Colada. To have a quick chat just speak to your usual contact or email here
Corporate Filings, P11Ds & Benefits in Kind – Last Chance To Beat The Deadline
The deadline is fast approaching to get your corporate filings and P11Ds in order. July the 6th to be precise.
If you need some last minute help to get everything in order, give your usual contact a call or drop us a line here.
You should also have a chat with them about phasing in payrolling benefits in kind. The new deadline isn’t until 2027, but you and your team are going to find it a lot less confusing if you introduce the practice gradually, benefit by benefit.
Hey ACSP! Do You Know Me?
Guess what, more paperwork. From Autumn this year there will be additional mandatory identity checks for UK company directors and Persons of Significant Control (PSCs). If this is you, then you’ll need to have your identity verified to prove who you are (you’ve probably had an email about it from the government).
You can do it yourself, either online with a GOV.ONE identity, or in person at selected Post Offices with one of the necessary forms of ID – which isn’t terribly convenient if you don’t live in the UK – or you can use an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) to do this on your behalf.
You’ve probably guessed that is where we can come in and help if you need. If you want to use us as your ACSP to verify your identity and ensure that you don’t have a headache come the Autumn, speak to your usual contact or drop us an email.
If you are already an Oury Clark CoSec client we’ll be handling this as part of your next confirmation statement. You don’t need to do anything yet – we’ll be in touch when it’s time.
If you’ve got questions or need help getting your company compliant, just shout: cosec@ouryclark.com
“Undergoing Therapy Will Make You a Better Leader”
Ahead of London Tech Week the BWB team sat down with Elizabeth Varley. As founder and former CEO of Tech Hub she has played a pivotal role in shaping London’s Tech scene.
In her current role with the UK Government’s Global Entrepreneur Program she continues to influence our start and scale up business culture today.
As you’d expect she has a lot of hot tips for founders, some of which we weren’t expecting. Like the one about therapy above.

Techweek 2025 – LON-DEN Bridge Happy Hour
What a delight it was to host the LON-DEN Bridge event once again – this time in the heart of London at the wonderfully British The Montague on the Gardens – part of The Red Carnation Hotel Collection… or should we say, its not-so-British Beach Bar!
From coconuts to canapés, cocktails to conversations, it was an evening full of international connections, laughter, and a little sand-between-the-toes fun. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this vibrant evening of networking during London Tech Week 2025.
We were especially proud to welcome the Colorado delegation to London – brilliant to keep the Brits and our friends from Colorado connected and collaborating.
